This project included the creation of a data warehouse used to improve decision making for the managed health care industry. It was conducted on behalf of a pharmaceutical benefit management business. The database is a multidimensional / star schema based system that supports drill down and summarization queries.

• Creating Extract Programs to Load the Data Warehouse
• Tuning of Database Structures
• Tuning of Decision Support Queries
• Training in Data Warehouse Concepts and Implementation

The following software was used: DB2, ACCESS, DCE, COBOL, C, PowerBuilder, MVS, UNIX, MS-DOS, Windows, and Data Modeling tools. The database was developed using three tier client/server technology.
