Through the partnership, which strengthens Acucorp's current product offering by enhancing the company's professional service line, developers can migrate their existing legacy applications to other platforms. Acucorp's extend(tm)5 family of solutions are already available on more than 600 platforms and include such innovative software modernization technologies as Internet deployment, COBOL-based graphical user interface (GUI) development, COBOL access to Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) data, distributed computing and programmer productivity tools.

This source code is ultimately converted to native ACUCOBOL(tm)-GT application source code, thus allowing developers to implement any one of the modernization technologies available through Acucorp's newly released Version 5.2 of extend5.
